Bonding

Bonding

Tooth colored restorative materials can be added to the surface of a tooth to make changes to the shape, size and color of the teeth, as well as restore tooth structure destroyed by decay or fracture. Bonding materials are matched to the shade of your own teeth to make the final look a natural one.

Bonding is used for:

  • Repairing broken or chipped teeth
  • Reducing unsightly gaps or spaces between teeth
  • Correcting the appearance of crooked or misaligned teeth

Unlike veneers or crowns, composite bonding removes little, if any, of the original tooth.
